Brothers Huthyfah and Ibrahim Abed, working alongside their father in the family business, grew up learning what hard work and persistence means. As they developed the family business, the brothers’ passion for serving Middle Eastern cuisine blossomed into a determination to bring traditional, home style Falafel to the Chicago land area. With their entrepreneurial nature and passion for Mediterranean food, the brothers began to conceptualize a new alternative to Chicago street cuisine.
Coming from a Middle Eastern culture, the Mediterranean chickpea dish, Falafel, is something the brothers grew up enjoying and cooking themselves. An original yet traditional recipe with all natural, fresh ingredients and a homemade blend of spices is something Huthyfah and Ibrahim developed over the years.
